From the moment we arrived at Lilac Cottage, we were blown away by the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the hosts. the kitchen was incredibly well-equipped, with top-quality cookware and kitchen utensils making meal preparation a breeze. the provision of tea and coffee facilities, along with a delicious cake on arrival, made us feel instantly at home. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the sitting area, which was both cozy and stylish, and the comfortable beds ensured a great night's sleep after a day of exploring the beautiful Forest of Dean. the free Wi-Fi in rooms and flat-screen TV were additional bonuses, enhancing our stay even further. the garden furniture on the patio provided the perfect spot for enjoying a morning coffee or evening drink, while the easy access to walking and biking trails right from the back of the cottage was a huge plus. Overall, Lilac Cottage exceeded all our expectations and we cannot wait to return. A truly exceptional experience.
